Background

Sarah's life has required continuous healing experiences which has informed her healing approaches and expanded her empathy and understanding for others.Sarah has worked in a variety of spas, clinics, health centers, outdoors, and yoga studios for over 20 years and is currently primarily focused on providing tele-health services. From 2023-2026 she studied and earned her master's degree in Somatic Psychotherapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) while completing clinical psychotherapy hours at The Liberation Institute and The Center for Somatic Psychotherapy (CSP) in San Francisco, CA.In 2020-2023 she obtained multiple certifications in the energy psychology practice of ThetaHealing. From 2017-2021, she assisted with restorative justice circles in schools and prison. In 2008, she obtained her Massage therapy licensure from East West College of the Healing Arts. (current CMT #50812)In 2007 she earned her Yoga teacher certification from Kripalu Teacher Training Center. From 2006 she learned Ayurveda in clinics in the US and India. In 2004, she co-led health workshops in schools, outdoor education centers and camps, and community centers throughout South Africa. Most importantly, life experiences and world travels connecting with indigenous lands, peoples, and traditions have provided a wealth of learning beyond institutions. Many of which are reflected in practices re-named and taught in institutions. I honor the origins in all that I've learned and aim for a collaborative, non-hierarchical approach.
Services

How this work is different:
Somatics and Theta Healing are modalities that can offer tools that incorporate the body and the unconscious mind that may offer deeper levels of understanding, processing, and relief. People often come away with realizations they didn't expect and a greater ability to shift from unwanted patterns to unfold their authentic expression and a greater sense of wellbeing.
